TheKnot, a wedding planning and content site, announced the acquisition of Breastfeeding.com, a community site that targets new mothers. The addition of Breastfeeding.com further expands TheKnot’s portfolio of baby brands which includes TheBump.com and LilaGuide.com. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
1up.com, a gaming and social network site and its cache of sites including GameVideos.com, MyCheats.com and GameTab.com, was acquired by UGO. Ugo (UnderGroundOnline) is considered one of the top 50 largest entertainment portal site. UGO networks consists of more than 250 owned and affiliated sites.
