How long has WebsiteBroker.com been around?

WebsiteBroker.com was started in 1997. Even in the early days of the public Internet we saw a need for a site to assist individuals and companies in selling or buying already existing web sites.

Is the site free to use?

Yes. There is no charge to use our site.

Do I have to register to use the site?

You don't need to register to browse the current listings - but registering will give you access to advanced features. You will need to register to list websites or domains for sale. Registration is free.

Does it cost anything to list a website or domain for sale?

No. Our basic listing of any website or domain for sale is free. However, we do offer a premiere listing option that gives better exposure of your website and domain for sale.

What are Premiere Listings?

Our Premiere Listing option gives better exposure to your website and domain name for sale. We currently offer 30 day and 90 premium listing packages for less than a dollar a day giving exposure of your site for sale to thousands of potential buyers. Premiere listings will appear in our "Premiere Listing Section" and will also appear at the top of their respective categories. Furthermore, the listings for Premiere Listings are bolder and stand out more than regular listings. Premiere Listings get clicked on much more often than regular listings.

How do I set the price for my website?

There is no no easy way to set a price for a website. Valuing websites is as much an art as it is "science" and accounting. When setting a price for your website or domain name for sale be reasonable. If you set it too high you most likely won;'t find any buyers. However, if you set it too low, you will miss out on additional profits. To help, we have put together some material that might help you value your website and domain names. we also have a new free online website valuation tool that can help with determining the value of an existing website.

Is it ok to list a domain name that is currently parked with advertising on it?

Yes, but keep in mind that having additional information on your parked page will help sell your listing faster.
